I have been on other forum rpgs and some of the things they have that we could use are:
NPC accounts- These are basically an account that works as non playable characters. These could be like bandits, soldiers, or civilians. They could also be canon characters that aren't being played by anyone. They are usually controlled by the admin(s).
Posting Order- This is mostly for those really big group threads that impact the plot a lot. They tell which order people on the thread will post in. They mainly are used to reduce confusion.
Plotting Boards- These are for players who want to plot with one another to make threads that may or may not affect the plot. It is helpful for meeting other people and interesting threads can come out of them.
These are just some of the things that we could use.
